From the moment i met Mrs Johnson i felt at ease. She was very friendly and spent time going through my issues. Explaining what would happen once my surgery was scheduled.
On the day of my operation, Mrs Johnson put me at ease, i was seen by memebers of her team, who were equally as good. She once again explained all the procedures, she carried out the procedure, talking to me throughout.
Mrs Johnson is an exceptional person, she has a very good style and a good sense of humour. I could not reccommend her enough.

I visited Mrs Johnson at The Nuffield Brighton for “trigger thumbs”. She successfully delivered appropriate steroid injections which have greatly improved the condition and I have full movement again. She was kind, professional & attentive as well as ultimately diagnosing and solving my problem. Thank you very much.

Great care from Riem Johnson from start to finish. Talked me through the whole process from the start, the risks involved, how the surgery would work and what the recovery times were. After the Operation referred me to a top aftercare physio who specializes in hand care. Extremely happy with how the surgery went and currently in my rehab phase but already feels 100% better and with the small scars healing will only get better in time.

I am a fellowship trained Consultant Orthopaedic Hand surgeon with a special interest in hand and wrist problems, working in Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Background
I qualified as a doctor from the University of Leicester and then completed my basic surgical and orthopaedic training in the NorthEast of England. I then undertook a year of fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, specialising in Hand and wrist surgery. Following this, I worked as a locum hand consultant in the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby, before taking up my current substantive post as a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon in Brighton. In addition to my NHS work, I also practice privately at the Montefiore Spire Hospital.
