I visited Mrs Isabella Karat because i had felt another lump in my left breast. I found her very approachable and easy to talk to. She was very reassuring and after the physical examination told me that it felt like it was another beneign lump. I felt very relieved but she has also referred me for a scan to confirm this. She was very thoughtful and listened well to every word i said. I would definitely recommend anyone who feels scared about a breast issue to see this lady. I'm truly glad i did.

At the Royal College of Surgeons, I am Course Director for the Breast Surgery Skills Course, and I am e-tutor to the National MS degree in Oncoplastic Surgery.
My areas of expertise and special interests are in breast cancer, breast reconstruction, benign and congenital breast surgery, family history assessment and cosmetic surgery. I also treat patients with skin lumps and bumps, melanoma and other skin cancers.
