Mrs Craig is a remarkable woman and an amazing surgeon. I first met Mrs Craig during an appointment at Trafford General with my Mum and, although the content of conversation was nerve wrecking and worrying, Mrs Craig was able to reassure us by clearly explaining my Mum’s case; including the possible negatives, as well as outlining the positives. Mrs Craig was understanding, welcoming and kind. The care and commitment from Mrs Craig did not stop after her operation, Mrs Craig made a clear effort to contact the next of kin after the operation, as well as visiting my Mum on the ward a number of times. It is clear Mrs Craig truly cares for the physical and mental welfare of all her patients. Without the help, advice and care from Mrs Craig and Tracey (who has been available to talk to during our times of need and distress), my Mum and I would not have managed as well as we have over the past few weeks. Although my Mum has been unlucky to receive a diagnosis of bowel cancer, I truly feel she was lucky to have been placed under the care of Mrs Craig - she clearly is a ‘superwoman!!’ Thank you Mrs Craig - I will be forever grateful.
