I have worked with Mrs Carmichael for a number of years and she is always kind and respectful to staff members. She is very warm and compassionate to her patients, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Everything she does is patient focused and she takes a person centred approach to each patient. She sees them all as individuals with different wants and needs. I have also been a patient of Mrs. Carmichael's and she was so incredibly kind to both me and my Husband, answering our questions and putting us at ease. I contact recommend her enough.

Mrs Carmichael is truly an amazing consultant, incredible surgeon and a caring person. Every step of my treatment and surgery was explained to me and any questions answered. I trusted Mrs Carmichael and she didn't disappoint. I'm so pleased with the results of my surgery as the scar is so neat. The team at Queens Hospital are a fantastic group of people who treat you as a person and not another cancer patient. I feel very lucky to have received my treatment with Mrs Carmichael and her team.

Mrs Carmichael is a dedicated and brilliant surgeon who really cares about her patients. She is kind, caring, patient and empathic. Mrs Carmichael explains every detail of the diagnosis and treatment and always takes time to answer any questions asked and I have never felt rushed during any of my appointments. She has operated on me twice, the first being a therapeutic mammoplasty last year and then again 3 weeks ago for symmetry. I am so happy with the results of my surgery and feel Mrs Carmichael has given me back my confidence. The aftercare I have had and am still receiving has been the best and I am so grateful to Mrs Carmichael and her team at Queens Hospital. I could not have been in better hands and feel so lucky to have had Mrs Carmichael as my surgeon.

Professor Carmichael was very caring, personable and compassionate. Once I was diagnosed Professor Carmichael went out of her way to take personal care of my surgery and follow up, which was very reassuring. Every aspect of my condition was discussed so I clearly understood everything and she is very warm and friendly. I can personally recommend Professor Carmichael

Mrs Carmichael is an amazing consultant and person , she made me feel at ease, relaxed and made me feel special. She performed a lumpectomy with reconstruction surgery on me, it was always going to a challenge due to the size of the tumour v the size of my breast. However Mrs Carmichael worked miracles and her passion and dedication to her ladies shone through. She left me with a wonderful result and clear margins. I cannot thank this wonderful lady enough , I’m very proud to be one of ‘her ladies’
