Following many hours at St Peter’s A&E with a badly broken wrist, I was extremely fortunate to see Mr Harb. I was referred to him in his capacity as a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon for his opinion on whether to operate or to leave my wrist (which had been manipulated in A&E) in a cast for 6 weeks. From the outset Mr Harb was extremely reassuring and I immediately felt in very safe hands. He was very clear, meticulous and patient when explaining the advantages/disadvantages of both treatment options and gave me plenty of time to ask any questions. My main concern was that whatever treatment I chose, I wanted him to do it! I made the decision to opt for surgery (Woking Nuffield) and am extremely relieved I did. The day of the operation went just as Mr Harb had outlined, as has my recovery. My post-op 6 week X-ray showed that my internal healing was very good and that Mr Harb had achieved a perfect alignment of my broken bone (which had not been possible via manipulation). A few weeks after surgery I forgot I had ever broken my wrist and use it exactly as I did before the break. I have had a couple of consultations with Mr Harb since my surgery and have been so impressed with his concern that I achieve an excellent result. It is always a pleasure to see him - he listens carefully to your progress, has a very personable manner and is clearly an extremely special consultant surgeon. Any patient of his is in the best hands possible.

I met Mr Harb again today as a follow up following foot fusion surgery that he performed on my left foot in July , as a result of an Arthritic joint problem. From the first consultation everything was explained very clearly, The operation was very successful , I didn`t feel a thing ! Recovery has followed the course explained to me at the original consultation. Hopefully, I wont need any more surgeries on my other foot , but if the worst happens I won`t have anyone else carry out the surgery other than Mr Harb. I can thoroughly recommend Mr Harb , for care, efficiency and making the whole procedure less stressful than it may otherwise have been.

I’ve seen Mr Harb again today to follow up on my foot fusion surgery that he did in February. I have seen him many times and for multiple surgeries over the last few years and he is a very special man. He really connects with his patients. He listens, he explains things in a way that you can understand. He treats you like a person that he’s interested in and he has a sense of humour. Mr Harb is the best consultant that I’ve been blessed to have in my corner and I would highly recommend him to everyone! It’s an added bonus that he’s really handsome too.

Great experience. Mr Harb is very professional, from the initial presentation of my achilles rupture he provided a thorough explanation of next steps and space to address queries/worries I had. Operation day and post-op follow ups went smoothly as Mr Harb was attentive and organised. Always felt I was in safe hands, a talented surgeon.
