Mr Shah offers exemplary care to his patients. I am very fortunate and privileged that he is my consultant. His professional skills and reputation are beyond compare but what stands him apart and differentiates him is his calming, supportive and informative approach. Mr Shah sees his patients as individuals. He explains medical procedures and concerns clearly and concisely whilst at the same time being convivial , approachable and perhaps most importantly showing tangible kindness and empathy. I feel so that I am in the safest and most skilled of hands as his patient.

Mr Shah is a very good surgeon. He carried out a total knee replacement on me. Mr Shah is a very friendly, kind, considerate, informative and patient person. He took the time to explain the process clearly to me and made me feel comfortable and confident in him. I am very happy with the outcome of my procedure. I would highly recommend Mr Shah.

Mr Shah is interested in his work, enthusiastic and friendly and positive in outlook without appearing unsympathetic. He looks at Xrays attentively and spots problems related to the one under consideration and the possible effects of these. He responds to questions. He inspires confidence because he is straightforward, attentive and detailed and comes across as an authentic person. The surgery (2 hip replacements) seems to have gone well in that the spike looks well-centred in the femur and the bone is growing around the prosthesis. He says it should last 20 years . I reported the various, post-surgical problems I had had verbally for information but dealing with those does not come under the purview of surgery. I don't think Mr Shah could have done more than he did as a surgeon but I do think that something needs addressing with the health service structures and practice as regards the entire process of recovery. I had to go to great lengths to find the help I needed as regards recovery and rehabilitation and as I know quite a lot about movement and also have contacts I was able, eventually, to find people and techniques that helped me regain the proprioception and use of my right leg following the second surgery. If surgery is not well followed-up by those able to follow up appropriately there is a risk that the surgeon's skill and the work of the surgical team is wasted

Caring and compassionate, good listening skills and he was able to clearly explain problems and procedures, he was never in a rush. The surgery worked perfectly.

Mr Shah, was very approachable and gave straight forward answers to all of my question's both pre and post operation for my total left hip replacement in 2021. I felt totally at ease and well informed at every stage from the very first consultation through to my hip replacement surgery. For myself, the surgery went extremely well and the short stay after the operation allowed me to recover at home without any problem's where I felt more comfortable recovering in my own surroundings! The follow up consultations were very satisfactory with my progress being charted with regular x-ray's and advice from Mr Shah at every stage of my recovery. I would like to take this opportunity to say ''thank you'' to Mr Shah and indeed all of his team for their excellent work, their time and Their care over the past year. Thank you. If I may, I would like to make only one suggestion if or where this might be possible? That at the follow up clinics if a patient requires an x-ray (if possible) that they be sent for their x-ray when they first arrive at the orthopaedic clinic. Regards Terence
