I found Mr Shah to be a warm and friendly professional who took time to explain my condition and the procedure required to alleviate it. He visited me prior to the operation in the anaesthetists room to ensure all was well, and I found that reassuring - rather than having no contact with him and not really knowing who did the procedure. The anaesthetist was excellent in every respect, putting me at ease and distracting me with conversation until I passed out! After the operation I was looked after by the nursing staff and visited by a member of Mr Shahs team and by Mr Shah himself the following day. He explained how the operation had progressed and the poor condition he found my hip to be in. He was happy I was back on my feet and moving about the ward. All in all, my contact with Mr Shah and his team, and the nursing staff was a positive experience and I could not have been in better hands.
