Mr Toumi was very supportive from my initial appointment and has been throughout my weight loss journey. I was very nervous about having the procedure, however, he and his staff reassured me and made me more at ease. I was fully informed of all my options, and made my decision based on the information I’d been given. The day of surgery went smoothly and I was well looked after during my stay. I am still having follow up appointments with Mr Toumi and his team to ensure the best outcome for me. He has also helped to ensure that I am receiving the best aftercare from my local GP and ensured the vitamins and supplements required after surgery are correct for me. My results so far have been amazing, steadily losing weight each week which has now amounted to 53lb in 17 weeks. I highly recommend Mr Toumi and his team.

I had a gastric sleeve in March and Mr Toumi has been lovely! The consultation was great he answered every silly little question I had. He's not judgemental about weight at all you don't feel pressured, he's got quite a calming presence I'd say! I've lost nearly 3 stone since my liver reducing diet which in total has taken about 10 weeks! It's a huge lifestyle change but so worth it. I had my surgery at washington spire and it was a nice place all the staff are friendly. It was nice to know I'd be seen by a surgeon who lives locally at a local hospital. I wouldn't feel uncomfortable ringing up to ask for help or any questions at any stage which is lovely.

Following my initial consultation Mr Toumi was very accessible pre and post surgery. I was able to contact him via email with my questions and worries and always received a reply. He gave me lots of information and visual examples which helped me make an informed choice about whether or not to have weight loss surgery, and the type of surgery that would be best for me. He has a great team who support him and together they provided excellent care from the instant I booked my surgery date. It’s now 8 months since my operation and I can honestly say Dr Toumi had changed my life. I’ve lost 6 stone since my gastric sleeve operation and 2 stone pre operation. I was always yo yo dieting, and really depressed helpless in my food habit and knew I had to do something for my health and happiness. I started researching doctors in my area and found loads of reviews about this surgeon… I thought I must be too good to be true, but I met him, cried in his office and he was so understanding of the challenges of obesity and the discrimination I felt as a obese woman. He knew I wanted the operation as soon as I could, and true to his word he was able to put additional surgery days on, and I was able to have the surgery 6 weeks after consultation. People ask me how much my survey was compared to abroad, and i always say you would buy yourself a new car with finance why would you not invest in your own health and future… cause that’s exactly what I did. And I did it with the most professional expert I could find… on the day of surgery he visited me pre operation and then came and seen me after I woke up. I am ever greatful for doctors like Dr Toumi who invest their careers in changing peoples life. Thanks for saving mine Dr Toumi, my family have me back and mentally/physically I am stronger.
