I had surgery on my hand, Carpal Tunnel. Unfortunately there were complications and my pain became much worse. I was passed on to Mr Naqui and I am so glad. He inspired confidence from the moment I met him. He knew exactly what the problem was and told me what he was going to do. He told me that he concentrated on working only from fingers to elbow. I was advised that the surgery would take place at The Spire Hospital in Manchester and was given an admission date. I noticed an immediate improvement from the moment I awoke following surgery. At the follow up appointment Mr Naqui told me that the best results could only be obtained by committing to hard work with my physiotherapist, Sarah. This was proved to be correct as Sarah, an excellent physiotherapist who specialised in hand therapy, gave me a long list of exercises. It was clear that Mr Naqui and Sarah worked closely and, certainly in my case, very successfully together. This was very reassuring for me as I was aware that I would need surgery on my other hand in the near future. I highly recommend Mr Naqui, and the team he chooses to work with, as an excellent surgeon and someone who kept me well informed at each stage of my treatment and recovery.
