I have had both knees and one hip replaced by Mr Agrawal and I can say he is fantastic not only in his amazing skills as a surgeon but also his complete approach from start to finish, his bedside manner his listening and explaining skills , he is a really genuine and understanding person , I have no hesitation in recommending him . I would just like to say a really big thank you very much for all your help advice and assistance.

I had hip replacement 7 weeks ago. Cannot thank this doctor and his team enough. It has changed my life. Recovery is going brilliantly. He is approachable,empathetic and a good listener. The theatre staff were brilliant, really put me at ease. I will forever be in debt with the team.

Mr Agrawal clearly described my condition and courses of available action with the associated risks and risk levels.
As far as I can judge my surgery was carried out to a high standard and to date I have experienced no adverse reaction.
I found Mr Agrawal to be friendly, approachable and very professional in his manner.

My experience from having a Total hip replacement with Mr Yuvraj Agrawal and his team was second to none with the care and attention shown to me was amazing. I will be forever in there dept for giving me back my quality of life. Best wishes to them all for the future.

Mr Yuvraj Agrawal is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in performing hip and knee joint replacements. His NHS practice is based at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, Birmingham.
He completed his Basic Surgical Training in Leeds and Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Sheffield and affiliated hospitals.
He undertook an advanced fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham and an Adult Joint Reconstruction fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. The fellowships helped him gain further experience in managing complex trauma and complex problems of the hip and knee joints. He has also visited centres in India, Nepal, South Africa and the US which has helped him understand the different healthcare systems.
He worked as a Consultant in Orthopaedic Trauma & Lower Limb Arthroplasty at the Nottingham University Hospitals for 18 months before being appointed at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. In addition to performing hip and knee replacements, his interests are failed joint replacements, joint infections and periprosthetic fractures.
He has been actively involved in various research projects and has been awarded various academic prizes at regional and national level. He has authored a textbook chapter and have published scientific articles in peer reviewed journals. He is keen teacher and instructs on a number of national courses for medical students and trainee orthopaedic surgeons.
