Mr Yogesh Nathdwarawala

Contrary to the only previous review for Mr Nathdwarawala, my experience in March 2018 was completely the opposite. He performed knee replacement surgery - and after 18 months of continued pain, during which time he told me several times that everything was normal, i eventually sought a second opinion. I was told that the surgery “had been done badly”, and that the only course of action other than putting up with it was to have revision surgery. Whilst in hospital for the revision surgery (different surgeon obviously!) several medical professionals at the hospital told me that I was not the only patient from St Joseph’s whose surgery they had had to rectify. During all my follow up consultations with Mr Nathdwarawala, he persisted in making me feel like I was complaining about nothing, and because I trusted that he was a respected professional it made me doubt myself. Now I know differently - be warned!

Outstanding consultant, listens patiently and explains everything very clearly and is an excellent surgeon. I had severe osteoarthritis of both ankles, I had given up the job that I loved (scuba instructor) because I could only walk a 100m or so, Mr Yogesh has worked miracles with both my ankles and enabled me to return to work, pain free.
