I was looked after by Mr Masannat after being diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2018. He is very caring consultant, who was very patient with me answering all my questions and explaining the test results and implications. He did excellent job removing the tumors and re-shaping my breasts. I feel privileged having him as my surgeon and to be looked after by the experienced and supportive team of nurses and doctors who work with him. Thank you very much!

Mr Masannat recently treated my wife. As things turned out it was nothing like as serious as first feared. Nevertheless Mr Masannat showed complete empathy with my wife. He explained every stage in detail, his determination to get to the bottom of my wife’s condition did him great credit. He came across as a kind, careing consummate professional. Not much else you can ask for in a surgeon really. He made what could have been a very difficult time for my wife much easier, and for that I am grateful.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer just days before my 50th birthday. Mr Masannat took over my case after my first operation ,when my previous consultant left , and our first meeting was for him to tell me that I required a further lumpectomy. Even though it was the first time he had met me, he was fully aware of my case and treated me with real care, explaining everything to me clearly. He then had the uneviable job of telling me after my second operation that the margin of clearance was still not what ARI would recommend. Despite my distress, as by that time everything had caught up with me and I was in the midst of a mini meltdown, he spent a considerable amount of time explaining all my options, reassuring me and renewing the optimism in me. Despite going from never having had any operations to having 3 in the space of 10 weeks, I felt completely safe and supported in his care.

Last year 2017 I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease. I also found a lump on my breast. Now as I had a suppressed immune system and no Killer T cells in my body due to Chronic Lyme disease. Which is a breading ground for cancer. I booked an appointment with Mr Masannat. I found him extremely caring and he could see that I was having problems. Fortunately it turned out that I didn’t have cancer. But he did remove 4 calcification’s. He knew I was on my way to Germany for stem cell treatment. 10 days before I was due to go. I had the biopsy done. His care was amazing very kind and could see that I was terrified about my health. His care is outstanding! I’ve never met such a great doctor as him. I completely trust him and I would definitely recommend him to other patients. His knowledge is incredible. Also I have no scars from the biopsy my body healed well. Despite having a compromised immune system.
