Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to my consultant MrWisam Al-Hakim for his care and professionalism, I received first class treatment, the operation was a success and all the information I received was correct and very helpful, I’ve made a full quick recovery, Holly hospital was absolutely tremendous the care that I receive from them was also first class, there’s nothing I can say to add to help you improve your service it seems to me that you are all very thorough and you all know what you’re doing, so thank you once again and I just like to say Mr Wisam Al-Hakim is a very lovely gentleman, thank you so much.

Doctor is the most skilful surgeon I ever met, he understood the exact problem and the way he spoke and discussed the matter reduce pain by just talking to him. He gave hope and explained the procedure thoroughly I was pleased after the surgery and improvement was exactly as doctor had explained. I have great confidence in Doctor Wisam Al Hakim he is grate Surgeon and very good doctor

My name is Stellla Nolan. I had a bad fall at home on 26th July, 2023. I was admitted to Whipps Cross Hospital under Orthopaedics with a left proximal Humeral fracture. Other than bed rest no action was taken, the theory being that left to itself my injury would eventually heal. It was almost 6 weeks later that I had the very good fortune to be seen by Mr Wisam Al-Hakim in Trauma Orthopaedics. The meeting turned my life around. I was in a very bad place both physically and psychologically. Feeling that I had been abandoned! I was in a great deal of pain, unable to do the things or live my life the way I had prior to my accident. Mr Al-Hakim is not in anyway ageist, he saw me as the person I am, a person anxious to return to the full and active life I had previously enjoyed. There was also concern that much time had elapsed since I’d had my accident. I saw Mr Al-Hakim on 31st August, I was admitted to Whipps Cross Hospital on 4th September, where I underwent a Left Reverse Shoulder Replacement. The operation was a great success, I cannot thank Mr Al-Hakim enough. It is a testament to his great skill and professional ability that I am again able to lead a full and happy life. Thank you!

My first impressions were of a person with strong communication ability which provided clarity and confidence to proceed . I was given a very clear description of my condition, which allowed an understanding of what the procedure would entail and the probable outcome. This clear communication continued the whole time under care. The outcome of the procedure materialised with positive results and exactly as outlined. I am very happy with the whole experience.

I suffered from frozen shoulder for years. It was so painful and restricting my shoulder and arm movement badly. Dr Al-Hakim did an arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder. I have been very happy with the outcome as well as all the treatment and care given. He has been very informative and accurate in all the stages of my treatment.
