This doctor examined my child for testicular pain after he had been examined by a nurse, a registrar from a & E, and a registrar from urology. It was immediately obvious that he had greater familiarity with the situation than any of his predecessors. He was quick, his movements were certain, and his examination was gentle yet thorough. He was decisive and recommended surgery as the alternative of choice, but he did not seem pushy. His explanation of the presumed situation, torsion of a cyst near the testicle, was clear. Although no patient wants surgery, and my son started by refusing, we consulted with knowledgeable experts and our Rabbis, and eventually came around. Mr. To was very pleasant and patient, and spent time calming our son with information and small talk. his post surgery communication ws clear and pleasant.

My stay in whipps X was made much more bearable by the presence of Mr. Wilson To, (Urology) who I found to be a highly professional and caring doctor, his bedside manner excellent, he would not scare or mystify you with long words that you would not understand, but by thinking that you have probably had worrying thoughts leading up to your appointment and maybe a sleepless night as well, he would calmly and in layman’s terms explain any procedures you might need, also answer any of your questions in a caring way. In my opinion Mr. Wilson To, is a great asset to Whipp’s Cross Hospital, who are fortunate in having such a dedicated and knowledgeable doctor but most of all to any patients lucky enough to be served by him. I wish Mr. Wilson To, well in all he does. M. Matthews
