His manner put me in mind of the character played by the actor James Robertson Justice in the old "Doctor" films. Abrupt and abrasive to the staff they appear in awe and fear of him. Everyone in his presence raised their game. His skill and professionalism is beyond reproach. In my own case, saving me from a tremendous amount of pain by acting deftly and quickly in Emergency. Then arranging an emergency operation, which he personally carried out within hours. Afterwards, he patiently explained everything that had happened and went on to arrange for me to have CT Scan before I was discharged. Just to check nothing had been missed. He is not your man if you are expecting a cheery or fawning bedside manner but if you want a skilled professional who show high personal standards of care and expects the same from others you should jump at the chance of having him in your health care team.

Was extremely rude, damaged nerves while excising a cremaster muscle, which led to erectile dysfunction, and continuing pain. In this operation, he delivered my testicle through my abdomen, despite giving me sheets describing a laparoscopic procedure. Upon my trying to get answers, he became increasingly obnoxious and rude, culminating in him leaving the hospital without explaining why he chose the riskier operation without discussing it with me (the patient). He continued to be extremely rude and dismissive before leaving Peterborough Hospital. I would be cautious if you find yourself referred to his care.
