Saw my son who is 2 years old and was so kind and helpful, listened to my concerns. Admitted him to the ward as he could see he was dehydrated and had tonsillitis but wasn’t taking fluids. He was absolutely correct. He never made me feel like I was just a panicked mother, he asked lots of questions and listened properly to my response. He explained everything to me so I knew what was going on and was never left wondering Was great with my son. Would recommend 100%!

I was admitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary A&E Department on 23/12/23 and seen by Dr Yiyek Chhabra. I would like to thank Dr Chhabra very much for his excellent care. I was given a thorough examination and he organised a number of tests and an x-ray before diagnosing my condition. He listened carefully to my concerns and was very polite and respectful explaining everything to me quite clearly at each stage. Dr Chhabra provided excellent patient care by having my blood pressure and pulse checked again before discharging me with medication. It is very reassuring that even within these extremely busy times the NHS service is first class! I would highly recommend this doctor as he is a true professional. Thank you once again Dr Chhabra your excellent care was very much appreciated. The medication that you gave me is working and I am so pleased to say that I am feeling much better-thanks to you!

I am a Paramedic who brought a patient into ED today and we were facing some difficulties. This doctor was absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond to help. Patient care was second to none, collaborative working fantastic. I would happily work alongside this doctor and be treated by him! It was at DRI, the option isn't there to choose.
