I have known Mr. Gangwani since being referred to him as a private patient in December 2020. Since that time I have been under his care for 2 cataract surgeries, both done privately, and 2 corneal transplants, done under the NHS. The way I have been treated by Mr. Gangwani and his team hasn't altered in any way since the move from being a private patient to NHS. He has always been friendly, professional and has taken the time to thoroughly explain everything to me, putting me at ease. I have developed a very high level of trust in him and his team and a full understanding of the procedures as I have undergone them. The work that he and his team have done for me has improved my life beyond what I had hoped for and I couldn't be more grateful. The whole opthalmology team at Ashford go about their work in a quietly professional manner and i have always been treated by them with courtesy and respect, which i believe comes from great leadership at the top.

I thought the 2 cataract operations were well planned and skilfully carried out. [ Not Dr. Gangwani's fault, but it is a pity that the telephone contact system does not work sometimes]

Dr Gangwani is a very pleasant and professional surgeon. I felt at ease when I first went to see him in Woking Nuffield hospital as I was very apprehensive about my cataract surgery. He explained very clearly about the pros and cons of this particular surgery and the benefits of the particular lenses which will suit my requirements. I feel very pleased and happy to get my cataract op under him. All the best wishes to you Dr Gangwani and May your great work help lots of other people just like you have done for me.
