I wasn't able to fulfill my MRI at Paddington.. I suffer anxiety and panic attacks ..also closed in spaces ..I wasn't able to lie flat on my belly as I'm a big girl with gastro problems ..I managed 10 minutes on machine rather than 30 minutes..also there was a doctor meeting outside MRI ..little did I realise that all 10- 15 men were watching me through a window.....I got recalled to charring Cross..and was scolded for not doing the full 30 minutes...I tried to explain but it fell on deaf ears and I was treated like a child ..well wat do expect from us now hey ? Ur being difficult ...I will try q more time for you to have a screening and ultra sound ? ...over an hour went by..even patients after me ..went b4 me ...I was made to feel like I was being punished ...

I am writing to comment on the care given to me today Wednesday 24th July 2019. I attended the Breast Services Team Department at Charing Cross Hospital and was seen by Mr V Kaplan. I want you to know how fantastic I found my treatment by Mr Kaplan, he was so thorough, efficient and had such a lovely manner and calming attitude. I was put at ease, as a very nervous patient, and I was so reassured to be seen by someone that I had confidence in. I feel he is a credit to the Breast Services Department. I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. It was an absolute shock. I was due to have a sentinel lymph node biopsy but my allocated surgeon was on holiday so I was very lucky to get Mr Kaplan to perform my operation. He has been absolutely wonderful not only as a surgeon but he is also understanding, full of compassion, helpful, reassuring and informative. His professional and caring manner is exceptional. I am very grateful and thankful that I have him as my surgeon. He has been very happy to talk about my concerns and worries - he has great interpersonal skills. Thanking you very much for your care. I was referred to Mr Kaplan in March 2018 re breast lump.On my initial visit with Mr Kaplan I had all the tests done that morning which showed the expertise of how the Breast Clinic is run ...speed being of the essence in situations like mine. I was diagnosed with a cancerous breast lump and this was explained to me by Mr Kaplan in a clear consise and caring manner. My options were presented and explained and the way forward was agreed. I had my operation within two weeks and I am so very pleased with the medical and cosmetic results.Because the lump was near my nipple it had to be removed and I was very concerned as to the appearance of my breast post surgery, I am so pleased with the cosmetic outcom achieved by Mr Kaplin . My nipple area looks practically normal and the scar is now so faint after just 2 weeks. I am so pleased I will not now need reconstructive surgery. I would also like to thank Terry-Anne Leeson (Clinical Nurse specialist Breast Care ) she was so helpfull , reassuring and informative, I would again along with my husband and family offer my heart felt thanks to Mr Kaplin for my treatment and the outcome,
