I have been under the care of Mr Roy Farrell and Mr Usama Ahmed and their Team at NWPH since my Thyroid Cancer diagnosis in January 2024. Mr Ahmed has been a thorough professional from the outset of my diagnosis and through my treatments which are ongoing. I feel totally at ease to ask Mr Ahmed the many questions I have regarding my medical condition, procedures and progress and he is always obliging, explaning in a very caring manner and with a knowlegeable disposition, the anwers to these questions as well as adressing any concerns I may have. Doctor Usama Ahmed performed my parotidectomy surgery earlier this year , together with Doctor Roy Farrell. Doctor Usama saw me prior to the surgery and explained me everything assuring me I will have a minimal scar. He showed great empathy to me as I was very anxious and answered all my questions prior the procedure . He also came to check on me while I was in the recovery and although I was very drowsy I remember him talking very gently and assuring me everything was ok. As he has promised , the scar is not even noticeable now few months after . I would recommend with all my heart Doctor Usama Ahmed ! Thank you !

Dr Ahmed has been really helpful. We were referred to GOSH 7 months after our son accidentally inhaled an object. The attention he has given us and our son has been impeccable. He explained the process in great detail that put our minds at ease knowing we were in very safe hands. The procedure went very smoothly and our son is on his recovery journey. We were fortunate to have Mr Usama Ahmed look at our son and have him under his care. He was thorough in his assessment and treatment and did not leave anything to chance. We were reassured by his professionalism and courteous nature. His approach to kids is amazing, he made our son laugh and play while getting his diagnostics done. Dr Ahmed was very professional. We were referred to the hospital for our son as he needed to see an ENT specialist. Dr Ahmed was knowledgeable. Very clear in his explanation. Very proactive. Made me feel at ease that my son was in safe hands!
