Mr Papettas was always ready to listen and explain procedures and consequences that may occur. When speaking with him I always felt he and his team took my concerns seriously and responded with professionalism and compassion.

I was very reassured after my initial consultation with Mr. Papettas and felt I could trust him completely. He performed my inguinal hernia repair on 27.10.20 and now just under 8 weeks later I am playing badminton again and know that I made the right decision. I had some of the post op issues which he warned me about but these have now resolved. Just give it time! My hernia proved to be worse than expected so I am glad I had it performed by a surgeon as skilful as Mr. Papettas. I am a fairly fit 66 year old male but my hernia was severely restricting my usual physical activities. As an asthmatic I really need to keep my level of fitness up. I am now able to do everything I did before I developed my hernia.

I contacted Mr. Papettas regarding my Gall Bladder, which had been diagnosed for over 7/8 years. At the time of seeing him I was recovering from a Viral infection, which left me very tired and weak. The consultation was excellent as he explained the risks of leaving a single gall stone (50mm dia approx), I had great confidence as he drew the Gall Bladder and all of the surrounding organs, and explained the risks. The operation was a success and all of the guidance given was clear and concise, and since I have improved and have no issues with eating foods which caused me serious issues before the operation.

I consulted Mr Papettas privately for a right inguinal hernia repair. I had two pre operation consultations with him but because of the covid pandemic these had to be done by telephone. Nevertheless these were very thorough and reassuring and the procedure fully explained. I was allowed home 4 hours after the surgery was complete and post operative instructions were clearly given. Two weeks after the surgery I had a face to face post op review with Mr. Papattas and found that whilst carrying out the procedure he carried out a detailed scrutiny of my organs and showed me the photographs which I found very reassuring. I really appreciated his calm and reassuring manner

Mr Papettas listened to me examined me gave me so much advice and put my mind at rest. I did his advice and have seen such a difference but also because he listened and examined me totally put me at ease. I would totally recommend him a very nice knowledgeable man.
