I was very reassured after my initial consultation with Mr. Papettas and felt I could trust him
completely. He performed my inguinal hernia repair on 27.10.20 and now just under 8 weeks
later I am playing badminton again and know that I made the right decision. I had some of
the post op issues which he warned me about but these have now resolved. Just give it time!
My hernia proved to be worse than expected so I am glad I had it performed by a surgeon as
skilful as Mr. Papettas.
I am a fairly fit 66 year old male but my hernia was severely restricting my usual physical activities.
As an asthmatic I really need to keep my level of fitness up. I am now able to do everything I did
before I developed my hernia.
