I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair (after two pregnancies) with Mr Adams in March 2018. Two years later I remain delighted with my results. Mr Adams has a calm, patient bedside manner and I felt he really listened to me, he is a perfectionist and was very concerned with symmetry and healing. My results far exceeded my expectations, I love my tummy and it has been great for my confidence and for my overall health as the muscle repair has given me back my core. I plan to go back to him for breast surgery soon and would recommend him to anyone.

In October 2019 I had a face and neck lift and I am very pleased with the result. Mr Adams is a skilful surgeon and a lovely man. He and his experienced team were supportive, helpful, kind and patient throughout the process.

Mr Adams is truly a superstar in my eyes anyway and I know that his staff feel very highly of him too. He understands exactly how you feel and I felt immediately at ease with him. I had a breast lift and reduction and can honestly say I am absolutely over the moon with my new boobies. What a transformation in such a short space of time. Mr Adams listens, understands and more importantly cares greatly about what he does and for me, he has made me feel like a woman again. If you are reading this and not sure, make an appointment to go and see him and he's not pushy, so much so then when I mentioned a tummy tuck next he said, not yet maybe next year!! Thanks I feel like me again! Julie

I’d like to share my story with anybody considering hiring the services of Mr Titus Adams. I will be as detailed as possible, as when I was doing my own research whilst looking for the right surgeon, I was desperate for the details! On 11th January 2020 I had a tummy tuck and breast lift, carried out by the wonderful Mr Adams. After 2 children, a total of 4 years breastfeeding and a substantial weight loss (40kgs) I was incredibly unhappy with the appearance of my saggy excess skin. The skin around my abdomen in particular was a nightmare, flapping about when I exercised. I would describe by breasts as ‘socks with snooker balls in’ (if you know, you know girls)! After all the hard work I put into losing weight, I felt so uncomfortable with what I was left with and wore baggy jumpers and loose clothing to try to hide as much of myself as I could. I was not in the body I had worked tirelessly to get, and no amount of sit ups and Zumba classes were going to help. I was an expert level mirror dodger, trying on clothes in shop changing rooms was a no go, I was far more into taking things home to try on so I could be in the comfort of my bedroom whilst with a (pint) glass of wine to hand to drown my self conscious sorrows. I met with Mr Adams for the first time in the autumn of 2019 at The Manor Hospital, Oxford. Being a woman with an anxious disposition, I was incredibly nervous before the first consultation, but his wonderful secretary, Bella, talked me through what to expect and put my mind at ease. Meeting Mr Adams was nothing short of a delightful experience. He really ‘got’ me, and was able to see the version of me he could help me to achieve. I left feeling uplifted, and that’s before any scalpels were part of the equation. Mr Adams was by no means airy-fairy; he explained the possible complications and the risks and allowed me to see this was a big step, but I felt it was one worth taking. Bella emailed me with some availability in the new year - I didn’t much fancy being out of action over the festive period with two young kids at home. Next came a pre op assessment a few weeks before the surgery. The nurses at the manor answered all of my questions and by the time I got to my second meeting with Mr Adams, I had all the information I needed, and it was more of a friendly and reassuring chat than anything else. We went through the risks again and some finer details about how the surgery would take place (he drew some fantastic pictures as a visual aid to show me how it’s done). In the days leading up to the surgery, I got emotional a few times, normal nerves I think, but the worst worry for me was in relation to having a general anaesthetic. Bella called one day before to ask if I had any unanswered questions, I didn’t. On the morning of the op, I checked in to the manor (which is more like a hotel than a hospital). The nurses came around to say hello and double check some details, followed by Mr Adams. Even as he was marking me up with his pen, his chilled demeanour was infectious and I felt at ease. I was able to meet my anaesthetist before the surgery who explained to me in more detail the ins and outs of what she was going to do, which really settled my worries around that. I gave my final permissions and then went down to theatre. I came round about 6 hours after I went under, neatly tucked into my support garment and post surgery bra. A lovely nurse asked about my level of pain and gave me pain killers and a glass of water. Shortly after I regained consciousness, I looked down and was instantly delighted by the sight of my waist and flat stomach (albeit with the support garment on) that had been hiding under fat and excess skin for so many years. It wasn’t long before I was wheeled back to my room. The nurses called my husband to let him know I was awake and well. I spent the next few hours dozing and enjoying the effects of the painkillers (silver cloud and all that!) The two nights following the surgery were spent in the luxury of my hotel, I mean hospital room, with the most amazing nurses and health care assistants. I was fully supported, both mentally and physically throughout my stay. Mr Adams came to see me 24 hours after the surgery to check how I was doing and give me the low down on when drains would be removed and so on. I was pretty spacey and so he relayed all the information to my husband to ensure it wouldn’t be forgotten. I won’t sugarcoat it, the next few weeks were not easy, sneezing and coughing was danger zone, and a couple of times getting in/out of the car or up/down stairs I pushed myself a bit too far and was reminded that I had effectively been cut in half. After one week, I was standing upright again and at 2, I was driving. The hardest part for me was actually resting. In fact, other than during my hospital stay, I didn’t stay sat down for long. I did however listen to my body and when I felt strained or tired at all, I would stop and sit. Another thing I found difficult was sleeping in the support garments and post surgery bra. I was soooo done with those by the time I got to the 6 week check. I am now 2 months post surgery and back to all my usually activities.. and more! Unlike my first appointment, I was so excited to see Mr Adams and show him how I was doing. I was given the all clear to resume life as normal and to take off my support garment (yay!) So the big question I had been asking myself was ‘will I actually feel better after all this or will I pick holes in other aspects of my appearance’? I am delighted to report that I am SO happy with the result. I am in love with my new body and even more so with my new found confidence. No more unsightly wobbling while working out, no more baggy jumpers, my fashion taste has exploded and I’m wearing whatever the hell I want and feeling so sassy
