I felt listened to and received very vital information about my upcoming operation and health problem. The appointment were arranged very quicklly and I felt really comfortable and cared for, in the clinic as well as the hospital.

Mr Bishop was the third surgeon I saw, as the other two were not confident that they could complete the comparatively rare procedure that I needed. He explained what he thought I needed very comprehensively, did a lot of pre-operative tests and the work itself - I'm now two months post-op - seems to have been very good. The care at St George's was excellent. The only disappointment has been his administrative support, which has been consistently poor: his secretary actually told me initially I would need to arrange my own operation because she was based at a different hospital, and she has not been easy to get hold of.
