Getting a rhinoplasty was a big deal for me, I wanted a surgeon that I could trust. Dr Biggs was absolutely excellent from start to finish. I felt that he really listened to what I wanted and made sure I was fully aware of the procedure and what to expect. I was really worried about the recovery but it was so much better than I had expected. He addressed all my concerns about the surgery and recovery. On the day of the surgery his team were absolutely wonderful and made me feel very at ease. I’m so happy with my final results!

I am a Consultant Surgeon specialising in conditions of the nose and sinuses. I have extensive experience in both functional and cosmetic nasal surgery as well as all forms of sinus surgery.
I am an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgeon at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust specialising in all conditions of the nose and sinuses - including septorhinoplasty, septoplasty, nasal polyps, sinus surgery, turbinoplasty, frontal sinus surgery, orbital decompression, nasal breathing issues, post-nasal drip, allergy, and sinonasal cancer.
Privately, I am an ENT specialist at Medicana Winchester (seeing insurance and self-pay patients) and a dedicated functional and cosmetic nasal surgeon at the Adnova Clinic - Hampshires premier day‑case surgical centre.
I have a large Rhinoplasty & Septorhinoplasty practice and perform these surgeries regularly. My practice extends beyond standard techniques, incorporating advanced techniques/technology that are not widely available, including dorsal preservation, piezo (ultrasonic), and donor rib reconstruction.
I am Board Certified as a registered Cosmetic Nasal Surgeon through the Royal College of Surgeons, further reinforcing my commitment to excellence in nasal surgery. My goal is to provide the highest level of care, ensuring both functional and aesthetic outcomes for my all my patients.
I qualified from Cardiff University and after an initial career as a British Army Medical Officer and completing my basic surgical training, I was awarded a highly competitive NIHR Acadmic Training Pathway in Otolaryngology (ENT). I completed my higher surgical training in the Wessex Deanery, specialising in Rhinology and Facial Plastics. Towards the end of my training, following the completion of a PhD in Rhinology, I was awarded and completed the national British Rhinology Society (BRS) Advanced Rhinology Fellowship, and following this an Advanced Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship (including Rhinoplasty and skin cancer).
I have published over 60 peer reviewed articles, undertaken over 30 national/international presentations, and been awarded over 25 prizes & fellowships. I am on the specialist GMC register for Otolaryngology (ENT), a member of ENT-UK, the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons.
I am (Board) Certified as a Cosmetic Nasal Surgeon, through the Royal College of Surgeons accreditation programme.
