Thomas has been simply brilliant from the moment I spoke with him to all our post care interactions. Not only did he do a fantastic job with my liver resection, he was supportive and incredibly empathetic, not only to me but my family also. He is the epitome of going above and beyond. He was always in contact with my wife to keep her updated and ensured we have been supported as a family. A truly first class experience all round.

I cannot fault the care I received from start to finish from Dr Satyadas. From my first appointment to my hernia operation I was treated as a valued patient and all of my concerns were listened to and dealt with quickly and professionally. The care I received was exceptional and could not be faulted.

I have been waiting a while for a Hernia Operation through the NHS and I was referred to the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle and Thomas Satyades. The speed that the hospital were able to arrange my visit and the actual surgery was amazing. I was very nervous prior to my Hernia Surgery and have to say Thomas Satyadas was so reassuring and professional he put my mind to rest. From the pre op appointment at the Alexandra Hospital to the actual Operation at the Hospital itself and then the post Op visit I cannot recommend him enough. He took time to sit and explain the operation with me on the morning it took place and really put my mind to rest. After the Operation he once again came to talk to me. If you are lucky enough to be referred to him or are able to choose him for your operation, you are in safe expert hands

I cannot recommend Dr Thomas Satyadas enough. I am 23 years old and had to go through major surgery at the start of November on my liver to have a liver resection. I had been referred to see Dr Satyadas at Manchester royal infirmary, by my local hospital . The first time I met Dr Satyadas with my mum and girlfriend wasn’t on the best circumstances , it was to tell me he suspects I have liver cancer with all the evidence he has, but it ceased to amaze us how empathetic Dr Satyadas was from the moment we met him. He explained the procedure he proposed to do and explained all the risk’s in great detail, Coming out of his office, even though he had just informed me I needed major surgery which carried some great risks, I felt at ease and that I was in the best hands possible. My feeling about being in the best hands possible was absolutely correct, on the morning of surgery whilst we were a for a bed to come available so I could go down to theatre, Dr Satyadas came and sat next to me, asked me how I was feeling and answered any questions and worry’s I had, he then ensured me not to worry everything would be ok. That made me feel very at ease before surgery as I was very nervous. I had the surgery successfully with no problems or any of the possible risks post surgery that he mentioned, I was home 4 days later . 2 weeks after Dr Satyadas called me to tell me that the testing showed the tumour was not cancerous, he sounded as happy as me to hear this, he really made his concerns and relief felt when he gave me the good news, that he genuinely cares about every patient like you are his only patient. I am nearly 4 weeks post surgery and Dr Satyadas has called me every week to update me about test results and MDT findings. Me and my family cannot thank Dr Satyadas enough , I could not of wished to be in better hands with not only such a skilled doctor, but such a kind and compassionate doctor. I would recommend that if you require treatment, you should choose Dr Satyadas . For someone like me who really really struggles with the hospital environment, Dr satyadas made the whole process a lot better than I imagined and I feel so lucky that I had my surgery and treatment from him.

I have been carrying a left-side inguinal hernia for several months waiting for an NHS appointment but given all their pressures just now I was told it could be late 2022 or early 2023. When the hernia deteriorated with signs of spreading to my right side also I decided to see a private specialist and Mr Satyadas was highly recommended on this and other sites. I was not disappointed. My initial consultation was only 48hrs after my phone enquiry - and I was given a bilateral laparoscopic hernia repair operation only 7 days later. Two weeks on and I have healed sufficiently to be able to recommence my normal activities and exercise. I can’t believe how much better it feels (or perhaps I mean I can’t believe how debilitating the hernia had gradually become over the months leading up to the operation. Mr Satyadas was thoroughly professional and was happy to explain exactly what would be involved and put my mind at rest. My stay at the BMI Alexandra was very comfortable and I was looked after by an excellent team of nurses and other staff. Mr Satyadas also took the time to personally ring my wife after the operation to confirm everything had gone well. I can’t thank Mr Satyadas and his team enough and will be happy to recommend him to others.
