I was referred to Mr Satyadas when prior procedures to treat a liver tumour were unsuccessful due to challenging circumstances. This was an extremely stressful time, but once I met Mr Satyadas and he reviewed my situation, I knew I had met the right surgeon for me. He was confident he could attempt the surgical procedure and was so empathetic and listened with such compassion. I felt so reassured, and he dispelled any concerns and anxieties that I had. I immediately felt at ease and knew I could put my complete trust and confidence in him. His surgical skill is outstanding, and he was able to undertake the procedure without complication. I was so relieved and extremely grateful to have been referred to such an outstanding clinician and surgeon. He really is the best and comes with the highest recommendation and I cannot thank him enough for his exceptional care.

I'll start with one word which is gentleman. I recently had a cancer scare as a 10cm tumour was found on my liver. I am only 36 years old so this was a shock and really frightening. However I am so grateful and blessed that my surgeon was Thomas. From start to finish he was so thoughtful, professional and conscientious. He made the process a million times calmer. He even offered to come into the hospital on his day off which was New Year's Day. As I was experiencing pain and had rung the hospital for advice. I cannot thank him enough and will always remember what he did for me but mainly how he made me feel and how he treated me. My surgery was a massive success and I am cancer free. Mr. Satyadas is a true professional and very knowledgeable. I am delighted with the outcome from the hernia surgery. He fixed 8 with very little pain after the procedure. I was a very scared patient but he settled my nerves and did a fantastic job!! I am glad I did my research and chose him. A true professional & a gentleman who LOVES his work. Mr SATYADAS removed my infected and ruptured gallbladder in April 2023 at Manchester Royal. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. He also is very nice too, always smiling and cheerful. In fact when I was admitted to Manchester Royal for something unrelated in September 2023 he recognised my name, shook my hand and asked how I was and why I was back in hospital.

I was referred to Mr Satyadas for a liver resection after six months of chemotherapy and a previous operation for stage 4 bowel cancer. I had previously been told the operation wouldn't be possible, but Mr Satyadas reviewed my scans and felt it was achievable to remove the remaining disease. From the moment I first spoke with Mr Satyadas over the phone, I felt instantly at ease. Not only is he exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled, but he has a rare quality of intuitive empathy and directed compassion. The year leading up to this operation was the most painful and challenging of my life, and I've learned that truly great doctors make the difference between feeling like you can cope with it and not. Mr Satyadas was able to complete my procedure laparoscopically, and the surgery was successful. Throughout the whole process he has been a professional and reliable source of support, and I feel very grateful to have been referred to him. I cannot recommend him highly enough or reassure anyone else in a similar position that you are in the best of hands.
