I had a great experience with Mr Thomas Satyadas and his team at the BMI Alexander Hospital Cheadle. I had my gall bladder removed and the whole process from start to finish was seamless. The operation was a success and I'm making a good recovery. I can highly recommend Mr Thomas Satyadas.

Care, empathy and advice on the procedure was excellent. I was initially somewhat nervous about the operation, but pre and post operation care together with Mr Satyadas’s skills as a surgeon minimised what little pain and discomfort I experienced and most definitely sped up my recovery. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Satyadas and his team.

Mr Satyadas was a fantastic doctor from the beginning to the end. I was referred through my GP to have my abdominal hernia repaired & muscle repair and was treated with nothing but respect. He throughly explained the procedure, the recover period and answered every question I had. He included my family and also explained the process to my husband. Mr Satyadas is a skilled surgeon and the procedure went well. In addition the scaring has been minimal. I am so pleased with the care I have received and the aftercare has been phenomenal. Any issues or concerns I have had has been resolved without question. I would highly recommend this consultant. Thank you.

I was referred to Mr Thomas Satyadas after having a scan to the stomach resulting in the find that my gallbladder was “packed” with gallstones. I didn’t know what this meant at the time and the implications it could cause. All pain I had been suffering from I had put down to IBS symptoms so I didn’t even consider gallstones as a possibility. I met with Mr Thomas Satyadas and was instantly put at ease with his friendly and warm persona. Mr Satyadas explained everything I needed to know and delivered it in terms I could understand. I later passed comment to my husband that even though Mr Satyadas must explain the meaning of gallstones and the procedure to patients daily it didn’t seem to faze him, he had full patience and understanding which meant a lot to me. I booked to have my gallbladder out and the procedure soon came about. Having never had a stay in hospital or any procedure of any kind I should have been extremely nervous, but I knew I was in the best care with Mr Thomas Satyadas. I just felt completely at ease. I was met by Mr Satyadas pre and post-surgery and I just felt well cared for and my overall care was exemplary. I was informed I also had a hernia that was taken care off during my surgery so not only was the main issue resolved my surgeon went above and beyond for me. I just couldn’t recommend Mr Satyadas more. If you have any fears or concerns… being with this surgeon, they will quickly evaporate. It’s been just over 6 weeks now since my surgery and it’s made a massive difference to my life for the better and it’s all been down to the care I received. Recovery took just 2 weeks. It was very quick and relatively painless. I would like to thank Mr Thomas Satyadas for being passionate about his position, having a deep care for patients and being the best at what he does! Thank you for taking care of me.
