Consultant Thomas Satyadas treated me at the BMI hospital in Cheadle Manchester. My scans showed a solid 5cm lump on liver. The consultant was honest, caring and compassionate at a time when I was struggling to come to terms with this news. He was calm, listened and explained clearly what needed to be done. The consultant arranged all my scans and appointments to ensure he had all the information required to decide on next steps. Consultant Thomas met with me regularly and was compassionate, understanding and did not rush the appointment at all. In the end I needed my gall bladder removed and the consultant looked after me through the process. The consultant met me on the morning of my surgery, did my surgery, checked with me in the evening after surgery and the following morning checked me before discharging me. I then met him two weeks later for my follow up. I was amazed at the level of care this consultant gives to his patients. I would strongly recommend this Consultant to anyone who needs medical attention for their gall bladder, liver or pancreas. There is no one better out there!
