Too much coughing and a lump appeared in my groin. My GP surgery offered 4 different places to have my hernia repair done. I'm glad I choose the Alexandra Hospital and came to see Mr Satyadas. He explained the procedure very accurately and after discussion I was confident that I was in good hands. It went well apart from me being a bit too inclined to have more morphine! It took me longer to recover and go to the loo so I had an overnight stay. Recovery has been quick and just 2 weeks later I am ok to go back to work. Mr S found 4/5 separate hernias and the mesh will have taken care of them all. Ok no one wants hernias and surgery but this was swift not too painful and effective. My thanks to Mr S and the team at the Alex on a job well done!
