I have been a consultant in the NHS and in private practice since 1991. I retired from the NHS in 2015. having trained as a general ophthalmologist I can offer an opinion on a wide range of ophthalmic problems. My main surgical interest is in small incision cataract surgery I was a Fellow in Oculoplastic Surgery at Moorfields, I have been an Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Treasurer of the United Kingdom and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, was President of the South West Ophthalmological Society and Coordinator of the Welsh Ophthalmic Forum
