This surgeon is supposedly very good, but I would suggest any women with ovarian cancer should go to Leeds, 50 miles away, where they are so much better.
He did surgery for late stage ovarian cancer in a little over two hours, which really isn't long enough. He didn't remove any lymph nodes. He made a mistake during surgery, which led to injury.
Afterwards, he was dishonest during a consultation. He refused to discuss my concerns, referring me to PALS.
Overall, he came across as arrogant and uncaring. There was a huge difference in his manner between his private practice and NHS work. I deeply regret allowing him to do my surgery.
