Dr Thamir Abraham

I have been under the care of Dr Thamir for the past 2 years. I was suffering from extreme itchiness and coming up in hives which left my skin extremely damaged and scarred. Dr Abraham saw me and we tried different treatment combinations which unfortunately did not help very much. I was in constant pain and itching and my confidence had hit rock bottom. I emailed him some pictures that my husband took of my skin and he responded immediately and got in me in to do a biopsy the next day. The result was available less than a week later and his kindness and consideration throughout my whole experience has been nothing but amazing. I was finally diagnosed with a severe from of Psoriasis and Dr Abraham immediately run x-rays and blood tests in order for me to start me on Methotrexate. I have now been on this for about 3 months and the difference in my skin is incredible. I fully trust him with my care and have absolutely no doubts in recommending him to any patient that is unlucky enough to have a skin condition but more importantly very lucky to have the expertise, support, care and understanding of Dr Thamir. 100% satisfied.

Dr Abraham is an amazing man. Until I was fortunate enough to be under his care, (@ JPUH) I was misdiagnosed by many, for 2 years. If it wasn't for this kind and caring man, I wouldn't be alive today.

My wife has had a rare skin condition for many years. It has not been too troublesome but last Autumn it flared up and caused much distress. We have had comprehensive support from Dr Abraham and the treatment he has given has resulted in a transformative improvement. We are very grateful for his contnuing care.

I have been a patient of Dr Abraham for nearly 2 years at The James Paget Hospital. To say he is my superhero is an understatement. Dr Abraham has helped me to get an awful skin co diction diagnosed and his treatment and care he gives to his patients is top notch. He is always willing to listen and does not judge. He makes you feel so welcome like he is an old friend. On a few occasions I have emailed him directly and he always responds so quickly and manages to get me seen normally within a few days. He definitely is one of best Doctors I have seen and I would highly recommend him. All I can really say is a huge thank you and I hope to stay under your care for a long time to come

Dr Thamir Abraham was brilliant with me today. I didn’t tell him how nervous I was about the procedure I was about to have and the lack of sleep I had the night before worrying about it! but that was all forgotten when I walked in. Dr Abraham was kind from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, explaining the procedure fully and not causing any pain or distress whatsoever. And, a beautiful job of stitching me up too! Thank you
