So I was suffering with mild Sleep apnoea which is when your breathing stops and starts while you sleep. It would wake me several times through the night often snorting or gasping for air and with a totally dried out mouth. During the day I'd feel fatigued and often have eyeball role or fall asleep staring at the PC. Mr Mirza was very thorough and we tried passive measures in the first instance but from the beginning he suggested I would be a suitable candidate for Expansion Pharyngoplasty which widens the airways at the back of the throat to reduce them obstructing the airways whilst asleep. I had the operation in July 2021 and the results have been great. Aponea is rare now, snoring is hugely reduced and sleep is much better. The operation requires a little overnight stay and is quite uncomfortable post op so leave a week or two to recover. Overall though it has been well worth the inconvenience and I'm most grateful to Mr Mirza and his team.

I am so totally pleased and appreciative that I met Mr Mirza, I came to the hospital about something unrelated to my sleep apnoea, and by chance see Mr Mirza. When he looked at what I was therefore, he asked if I had sleep apnoea or problems sleeping etc. we discussed this briefly at my first appointment, and he followed it up and I went on to have a sleep test which detected moderate sleep apnoea and then had operation to help my breathing/sleep, which has been successful and I can breath/sleep much better. prior to seeing Mr Mirza, I was at the stage of not bothering anymore to seek advice on this and I did feel that I wasn't being taken seriously and it was a low priority situation for me to get any help. I was completely blown away by the care, consideration and treatment shown by Mr Mirza and will always feel so grateful for his 100% genuine, nothing too much trouble, attitude. he is so positive and passionate about what he is doing, and achieving to help people that suffer in this way. Many thanks to Mr Mirza and his amazing team that have helped me. Also everyone on the day of my operation and aftercare, were so brilliant and I felt really cared for. Thank you so much.

He listened to me and explained why I had the issue I had, which had not been explained to me by anyone before. He then looked at a remedy for the problem which turned out to be very successful. I would recommend Mr Mirza, unreservedly.
