I feel the other comments echo my feelings. Late, paper-shuffler, uninterested, rushed. I would say he is incredibly average, but I realised that's actually an insult to lots of competent doctors.

Always late. I've never felt listened to in his care. I don't feel able to trust his recommendations.

A very poor experience with Mr Amamilo. He arrived an hour late for my first appointment, despite it being his first appointment of the day. I found that he didn't fully listen to me, rather, he would stop listening to me mid-sentence to write notes, clearly not paying attention to the rest of what I was saying. After an hour of waiting for him on my second appointment (again, the first appointment of the day) I left the hospital with the intention of finding another consultant.

No interest whatsoever to put my mind at ease. No explanation of injury, treatment, or time to recover. When those are the main things you will be looking for when you have an injury. The appointment was in the morning and felt like I was being rushed out of the consulting room.

On both appointments I had to wait about an hour to be seen by the Doctor. When finally was called he paid more attention arranging a few papers in my folder than on me. The second tine while reading his own notes from the previous meeting he mistakenly referred to my right leg though the left leg was actually causing the problem. And later through the conversation he asked a couple of times which leg was in pain. No diagnose, no interest, totally unimpressed.
