My initial consultation with Mr Bokhari for osteoarthritis of the knee was really informative. I had previously seen a consultant within the private sector who had diagnosed severe osteoarthritis throughout the joint. Mr Bokhari explained how my X-Ray told quite a different story. He listened to what I had to say and offered to explore an alternative to a full knee replacement. Mr Bokhari has a pleasant bed-side manner and is very knowledgeable about his specialism.

I met Mr Bokhari after being sent by GP surgery . He explained in my terms ( not medical jargon ) my problem, arthoritis in my left hip. He fully explained my options for treatment , then pointed out my best option BUT left it for me to make the decision based on the advice given. We agreed that surgery was the way forward, Mr Bokhari then took great pains to fully explain what this would entail . This totally helped me making me comfortable and confident about the planned surgery. On the day ofthe surgery was admitted to Euxton Hall Hospital, again I met Mr Bokhari who took the time to further discuss any worries or fears I had. In nthe afternoon he conducted the procedure, much to my , and my wifes, amazement I was dishcharged from the hospital the following the following afternoon, after being seen by the physo and again by Mr Bokhari. Six weeks to the day I had a further consultation with Mr Bokhari who declared me dishcharged from treatment and back under my GP. Surgery is not a thing to look forward to BUT after my experience here I feel in a position to reashure anyone of the benefits of Mr Bokhari's skill and patient treatment. I would also like to say thank you to Mr Bokhari for giving me my mobility back, now looking forward to being able to get on with my hobbies

I was suffering from Osteoarthritis in my right hip and was referred to Mr Bokhari by my GP. Mr Bokhari explained to me fully about my condition, he has always been very patient and made sure I understood the process that lay ahead, including the time frame for the waiting list for the procedure ( unfortunately this is country wide within the NHS, and does not reflect on Mr Bokhari) Mr Bokhari has always answered fully any questions I had about my arthritis . Mr Bokhari performed my operation at Burnley General Hospital on the 2nd February 2024. I was well prepared to know what to expect before during and post operatively. The operation lasted around an hour and a half, and I went home two days later. I can only speak for myself , but my pain relief has been immense, to the point that now 13th March 2024 my right hip is pain free.I would like to take this chance to wholeheartedly thank Mr Bokhari and his team for their professionalism and taking the time to explain to me comprehensively what my journey would entail. If you get the chance to have Mr Bokhari as your consultant, I would say you have a skilled and thoughtful person looking after you.

Mr Bokhari conducted a RTHR for me after It was felt to be too risky for the NHS private hospital I was allocated. I had a very small time frame to have the operation as I am on particular medication. The operation itself went very well but unfortunately I was unwell during the immediate post op period. This was quickly sorted by Mr Bokhari ensuring I had all the care I needed from ICU members and other staff as felt necessary. Mr Bokhari also called my husband to update him on the operation. The prosthesis itself was chosen carefully to prevent complications caused by my spinal problems.Mr Bokhari is a caring approachable man, nothing is too much trouble. Thankyou for looking after me , and thankyou to all your staff on ward B24, Royal Blackburn Hospital.
