From the moment i met Mr Bokhari i felt at ease and in good hands. He has a way of making you feel so comfortable when you are frightened and nervous. Mr Bokhari has a wonderful calming manner and comes across as someone you have known all your life and not a stranger. My surgery was a full hip replacement on 23/10/25 and 7 weeks later I am pain free and feel like a new person. Follow up appointment was amazing and informative. Mr Bokhari is a very down to earth and personable man. I felt at ease from the first moment I met him. He talked me through the possibility of having a hip replacement v injections and I went away to think things through. By the next meeting with him I had decided to go for the hip replacement. I had this on 23/10/25. His whole team looked after me like I mattered. I was even listening to him chatting while he replaced my hip. 2 weeks later and my clips came out. The nurse stated it was a beautiful incision and a job well done. Fast forward to today and my 7 week appointment with Mr Bokhari. He showed me X-rays of what had been done, talked me through what he had done and then told me I could drive again!!!! Mr Bokhari is amazing. I never once doubted his ability- and I feel really blessed and honoured that I received a top surgeon for my first (and last) ever surgery on the NHS. Thanks to him and his amazing team, I had a wonderful experience and now have my mobility back for years to come. I don’t think he truly realises just how much he changes peoples lives. I had a total left hip replacement. I was apprehensive to say the least as it's a big operation albeit routine for the surgeon. Mr Bokhari was very clear, concise, reassuring, honest and surgically brilliant. All the healthcare givers after my surgery were staggered at how small my scar was compared to other hip replacement patients. Rough 24hrs after surgery but there's no getting away from that. I am a NHS patient. My GP set up a consultation with Mr Bokhari at Beardwood Hospital, Blackburn, and I was given a date for my operation within 3 weeks of his consultation. I was stunned at how soon my operation was to be scheduled, having heard horror stories of patients generally waiting for up to 3 years to be operated on. Grateful not to have to wait so long, I was very happy to be looked after Mr Bokhari and his team. The procedure was very successful and now, 6 weeks post op, I am healing very well. Right from my first meeting with Mr Bokhari, I felt confident about what was to come. He explained the procedure and warned me of what I had to do for my part in the collaboration. As he put it to me, he can do his utmost with his skill and experience but I too had a part to make sure his work was successful. Keeping up with my physio exercises, continuing to loose excess weight, and keeping up with pain relief when necessary, all to ensure the prosthesis last the maximum time possible. At my last review, Mr Bokhari confirmed that the healing process is on track for a completely successful outcome, which should not need to be revisited in my lifetime. I am extremely fortunate to have been put in the care of Mr Bokhari and his team working within the NHS. Thank you.

I Have had knee problems for a number of years i was given the chance to have a knee replacement on my left leg Mr Bokhari and his team carried out the operation on the 16th of October 2025 A Very Big thank to him and his team it was one of the worst knees he had seen the result was Fantastic i really can not thank him enough to see him again 4 weeks later and i really can not belive the improvement it as made to my life my advice keep up the physio and keep doing the exercises as instructed its a small word but THANKS keep up the good work.
