I am 72, female. My operation was carried out by Mr Naik 8 years ago when I had a replacement Aortic valve and patch. The valve was fitted at an angle to allow a larger one to be used. My heart health is now good. From the outset Mr Naik was clearly passionate about his work. He explained everything, my problems - using diagrams-, the operation, the options, the risks, time schedule. My op was scheduled for an afternoon. As I waited, Mr Naik came to see me, clearly straight from theatre, to apologise that his current patient was quite unwell and her op had taken longer. He wouldn't be able to carry out my op until next week. He was grateful that I didn't make a fuss but I said the other lady's op was more important if she was ill. He was determined not to let me down and not have my op passed to someone else. Sure enough, he mended me the following week. When I was out of theatre, he phoned my partner to say I was OK. I couldn't ask anything more from him.

7 years after my Life saving op , this 67 year old still working part time.. Mr Naik is a genius , at the time I said this man had magic in his hands.

Consultant on patience 2 was magnificent Thank you! There was a massive delay at kings mill hospital which was shocking and due to nature of emergency my son should have been seen within 6 hours for chance of recovery. What an amazing man! Calming, compassionate, everything you want your cardiac surgeon to be! Exactly one year on after open heart surgery to replace a bi-cuspid Aortic valve my husband is doing fantastic! Amazing care and attention and faultless follow up - The Best! Thank-you

I was very impressed with Dr Naik. He was very informative and explained everything very clearly, including drawing diagrams. Dr Naik even phoned my wife personally after performing my aortic valve replacement, he even gave personal care whilst I was in icu after my operation. I found him to be the most straight forward and tells you everything as it is, I would certainly recommend Dr Naik for any heart procedures your due to have.
