Dr Auplish made me feel as though I didn’t have to worry about anything and the operation would go as planned and it did After the op Dr Auplish visited me in hospital and explained the procedure he had carried out it was nice to find out what had caused my discomfort and pain and have it rectified in a matter of hour I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Auplish he is a credit to his profession .

I had waited over three years for my shoulder operation when Dr Auplish agreed to operate it was so straight forward and my treatment was second to none from preparation to aftercare was unbeatable absolutely over the moon with everything

Mr Auplish really listened to me and examined me carefully asking questions. He made helpful suggestions and didn't rush me out which was quite frankly very refreshing.

I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in diseases of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. I treat joint pain and arthritis, tendon injury, nerve compression and sporting injury. I also have a specialist practice treating amateur and professional musicians recover from overuse and injury, and regain their playing potential.
I trained in London and Oxford and my fellowship (advanced) training was at the internationally famous Wrightington Hospital.
I was appointed as Consultant in Essex in 2009 and moved to York in 2017.
