Being a pensioner, and the first time of ever having an operation, so not knowing exactly what to expect and under local anaesthetic, I had been apprehensive, to say the least! Doctor El-Shunnar listened and explained his procedure with a gentle tone and kind understanding. He made me laugh with a quick line before about pretending I was at a Spa, which I did throughout the time and it was fascinating, listening to his conversation during the 45 minutes and afterwards, with his advise. Now 6 months later, I have been told by people that he's done a good job, and they too are impressed with his work!!! While I was recovering and before he gently removed the stitches on my face, I created a personal card for him and dedicated a photo on my social media page, thanking him for his wonderful work, which I am in awe of. Thank you again, doctor.

Time was taken to fully understand the condition and a detailed explanation was provided and treatment was thoroughly discussed and options explained. One suggestion would be regarding frequency of contact, we had to wait a while for surgery and we had to chase for updates a few times, regular updates on case progress would be good.

I found Mr El- Shunner attentive and helpful although there is not a lot to be done about my condition ( tinnitus) but he offered some useful information.
