I recently spent a total of 5 months in hospital for a tooth abcess that went to my brain. I underwent 2 burr hole surgeries to relief the pressure of the abcess that had ruptured. I can't really remember much. I spent a long while on ward 40 and Stuart Stokes was one of the Dr's that where on that ward. He was fantastic and so considerate to the fact I was very confused. I can't thanks Stuart and the team enough. I would not be here if it wasn't for the care and reaction to the situation
I recently had spinal surgery to my neck (ACDF) for a compressed nerve root C5/C6 on the 9/9/20 I received wonderful care on ward 4 HRI and I’m happy to say my surgery has so far a fabulous success. Dr Stuart Stokes is a confidant young man with a reassuring friendly manner. Thank you Karen Gregg

I have just met Mr Stokes with my wife who is just about to under go brain surgery in Hull. Finally we have met someone who has had the compassion and understanding to be honest with us and give my wife the reassurance she needed.
