I had my consultation in August. Mr Disu was so helpful and informative about his thoughts on my symptoms. Soon after I was scheduled for a laparoscopy in September. Mr Disu was kind, helpful and made me feel at ease pre surgery and also post surgery. It was a busy time for all hospital staff and consultants, however they made me feel at ease and ensured I had the best care. I would definitely recommend Mr Disu.

I Came to BMI The clementine Churchill hospital to do my operation. The service was impeccable and provides fantastic care. All the nurses were so friendly and made my stay a lot more manageable! The catering staff are all extremely friendly and happy to help with any needs. I would highly recommend the hospital! And not to mention Dr .Stewart Disu was so caring and professional and successfully done my procedure without a hick. I'm grateful to you all.

My first patient experience of Mr Disu was back in 2017 when he undertook the challenge to reduce the quantity of my troubling fibroids with a myomectomy procedure which was no easy task! I have returned to Mr Disu for minor surgery last month and once again both he and his team provided exceptional care pre and post operatively. I highly recommend his expertise.

Mr Disu is the most caring, professional and approachable gynaecologist I have ever come across (and I’ve met a few!) I found Mr Disu when my fertility clinic told me they could not get through my cervix to transfer an embryo. It transpired that a previous Loop procedure had caused scarring over the cervical os, and I needed a hysteroscopy and dilation to open up the cervical canal again. Mr Disu specializes in cervical synechiae (scarring) and uses an electrode to open the canal which reduces the chances of scar tissues forming again. Within moments of meeting him, Mr Disu had put me at ease and told me everything was going to be alright. He took the time to explain his approach, why it was different (and better!) and showed me videos of other patients undergoing the same treatment. As soon as I had left the appointment I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I felt that he understood my worries and concerns and that I was in very safe hands. He said he would check over my uterus while he was in there and make sure nothing would get in the way of a successful embryo transfer. Success for him was me getting pregnant, not just opening up the cervix. On the day of the procedure his jovial relaxed manner really put me at ease. He was kind and patient and talked through all my concerns again. I felt very comfortable asking him all my questions. The procedure was a resounding success and I was able to have an embryo transfer nearly 6 weeks after the operation. My fertility consultant was skeptical that my cervix would still be open after that period of time, but because of the way the treatment was carried out, my cervical canal will remain accessible. I cannot recommend Mr Disu enough. As well as being an exceptional surgeon, he is human and kind and really cares about your personal outcomes.
