Prof is someone I owe my mobility too. I came to him after surgery at another hospital left me in a wheelchair and in constant pain.
Sadly he couldn’t repair all of the damage but he did get me out of my wheelchair and I have not needed any further spinal surgery some 10 years on.
Prof believed me when others doctors wouldn’t, he took time to test if surgery was the right thing with investigations and detailed imaging.
He never gave me false hope and didn’t sugar coat how hard I would have to work once his work was done.
A caring highly skilled surgeon who I am so lucky to have been treated by. A true gem in the crown of the NHS.
