Started seeing Mr Walsh in 2013 in preparation for my surgery in 2016. The care and reassurance he gave was remarkable, always on the end of the phone if I needed something and always prepared to make availability to get me in if I had a problem right up until I was discharged from his care in late 2019. Great man, fantastic surgeon and always willing for a joke before surgery to lighten the mood.

Dr Walsh was fantastic and welcome help, following my recent fall which resulted in a broken nose. Whilst I'm not the most vain person in the world my wonky nose wasnt just causing breathing difficulty but also didn't make me feel great about my image. Dr Walsh advised me clearly that because it was cartilage that was dislocated it was harder to fix and heal however if I wanted to go ahead he was happy to try and fix the dislocation. Dr Walsh and his team were really kind and patient with me - I have a huge (irrational) fear of being put to sleep and not waking up again, his team took the time to explain exactly what was going on and how I'd be hooked up to all kinds of monitors and therefore put my mind at ease and I went to sleep peacefully. Whilst there was the expected pain afterwards the aftercare was brilliant. When it was time to remove the splints Dr Walsh once again put my mind at ease and I didn't feel a thing. He once again reinforced the importance of not wacking the nose again and that over the next few months the cartilage could relapse. Something we both hope wont happen. I am very grateful to Mr Walsh and his team for their care.

I was seen by Mr Walsh to remove a benign cyst on my cheek and I found him to be entirely professional, friendly and accommodating throughout the process. During my consultation he was very informative in regards to what was happening under my skin and what I might expect during and post procedure. During my procedure he was equally informative as to the process and progress of the procedure whilst also engaging in general conversation which added to the already calm and reassuring atmosphere. The procedure itself was painless and over surprisingly quickly, the incision was made, placed and stitched so that the subsequent scar will have minimal impact both physically and aesthetically.

I could not have asked for better treatment and care from Mr Walsh and his team. Mr Walsh put me at ease, answered all of my questions and I felt that the treatment I received was exemplary at all times.

I have now seen Mr Walsh on many occasions, from my initial surgery, through to several follow-up appointments. On every visit I have experienced nothing but professionalism, care, concern and kindness. He is a good listener, and a great communicator, explaining and answering my questions, while at the same time reassuring me. I trust him completely and respect his knowledge and commitment to his profession. I have been treated by several consultants during my life, but I can honestly say that Mr Walsh is the only one who has made my hospital visits an easy experience and I am extremely grateful for that.
