This doctor did not listen to my concerns regarding my eye sight at all. His attitude was very odd. Like he couldn’t be bothered with me and I was wasting his time. He didn’t want to offer the option of surgery as in his opinion my condition is not severe enough although I told him I struggle to drive especially at night. The advice offered was not to drive at night. Reading is also becoming increasingly difficult. I was made to feel it is my fault I have a problem with my eyes as apparently I did not develop my brain properly as a child. I felt quite humiliated by the time I left and just wanted to get out of the hospital. The glasses I was supposed to be sent to wear as a trial to see if they would help, never arrived. I’ve been waiting five months. I waited over a year for that appointment. What a waste of time!

Would have been preferable if this doctor listened to the patient. His strange attitude left us feeling we should not have been there. We'd heard previously this doctor was nice. Not our experience, which was very disappointing, especially the patient who had not imagined such a difficult appointment. Nothing came of the appointment as it was decided not to proceed with surgery. Probably for the best.
