I recently had hip replacement surgery performed by Mr Tai. I am very happy with the outcome of the process from the initial consultation, making an appointment for surgery, the surgery itself and the outcome of the surgery. After only 6 weeks I was walking normally with no pain or limp. Mr Tai was very supportive and open about the procedure, taking time to explain each step and answer any questions I had.

Had a recent appointment for an injection in my knee, did not even feel the injection. Mr Tai was very professional, polite and listened to my questions and was very helpful in his replies.

I am so happy to be able to write this review for Mr Tai.He successfully replaced my worn out hip just 7 weeks ago. His excellent surgical skills have left me virtually pain free and mobile already ...what joy! His professionalism and care certainly warrant 5 stars across the board. He listened to my concerns, explained my condition and the up and coming procedure with kindness , reassurance and respect for which I am very grateful. The whole experience was so much easier and less terrifying than I had anticipated! This was most certainly down to the safe hands of Mr Tai , thank you so much.

The service recieved from Mr. Tai, Left knee replacement, was very professional. His knowledge and easy manner was very comforting. He listened to the small concerns I had and assured me that all would be well. This is the second time that Mr Tai has operated on me, the last time being my Right Knee some 3 years ago. The service I received then was equally as good and there has been no deterioration in the service received. I would highly recommend Mr Tai and the services of Pinehill Hospital.

I had a hip xray on the NHS, only to find I was then put on a 12 week wait list for physio without any date for seeing a consultant. My pain had come on quite quickly, therefore I arranged an appt with Mr. Tai, my sister in law had seen him previously so I knew who I wanted to see. It was confirmed at the appt that I needed a replacement hip and that physio would not help the situation at all. I went away to think about it for a day and sort finances. Then contacted Mr. Tai's secretary and a date was booked. On the day of the op at Pinehill, once I had arrived, it was going through forms and checking personal details etc. Mr. Tai came in to see me at one stage to check I knew what procedure I was having and to sign the consent form; I have to admit I felt he was a bit rushed and I felt that time could have been spent making me feel a little easier but I got the impression there had been an incident in clinic that morning. The whole team and especially the Anaesthetist were brilliant. I was well looked after during my stay. I have had my follow up appt with Mr. Tai and he was lovely. I still go to physiotherapy. I highly recommend Pinehill, Mr. Tai and the team.
