My thanks to Mr Tai for his great work in replacing my hip. He explained what the procedure would be and the operation was a great success. Immediately following the operation I was totally pain free and able to walk unaided after five weeks. I would recommend Mr Tai, he has a very pleasant manner and certainly put me at ease.

Stephen was concerned about my hip and said he wanted it completed within 3 months. I was a little skeptical but 4 months later I was done!! Operation was more complex than first thought but again was offered physio work within a few weeks. Well done to Stephen's team!! Thank you.

I saw Mr Tai for a full hip replacement. He explained the procedure clearly and answered all my questions thoroughly. The operation was a great success and I was walking unaided (slowly but unaided!) after 10 days. The wound site healed very well and there was almost no bruising to the leg at all - which amazed my physio. I can thoroughly recommend Mr Tai and whilst I would have no hesitation in using him again - I sincerely hope I don’t ever have cause to!

We found Stephen Tai to be a very professional and approachable specialist, who listened carefully to all that was said and gave answers that were clear and understandable, using x-rays where necessary, at the initial consultation. The hip joint replacement was very successful, with no problems arising during or after the procedure. I did not suffer any pain throughout the two day stay in hospital or afterwards at home. Mr Tai visited me during my stay in hospital. I was also advised that he, the medical and physio teams could be contacted if any issues arose after my discharge from hospital. A final consultation was arranged for six weeks after my operation, where we had an open discussion on the operation and he clarified any concerns I had about returning to normal activities. I would thoroughly recommend the services of Stephen Tai.
