After suffering pain for a few years now & only being offered steriod injections by NHS system I decided that I had to do something else. After a recommendation I contacted Ellis PA to Mr Tai & an appointment was made to see him within a few days. I did have other heath issues which could have been affected by the necessary hip replacement operation but those sorted out by referral to other consultants. After being given the OK to proceed with the surgery I eventually had my total hip replacement almost 6 weeks ago. I was apprehensive but was soon put at ease by the fantastic staff at Pinehill Hospital who made me feel as relaxed as possible. With all the support from the surgeon & nursing team I made a quick recovery & was so pleased to be walking without pain. I cannot thank Mr Tai & his team enough for such a professional service & would recommend Mr Tai to others. Thanks to everyone for their care.,

Dr Tai was amazing!! I was in a lot of pain and he got straight to the problem, diagnosed it and there and then we arranged the surgery. My entire experience at Pinehill Hospital was excellent! I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon my scar in minimal considering the operation and I was pleasantly surprised. The after care I have and am still receiving is excellent! If I need the other hip doing in the future I will ask for Dr Tai to perform the surgery. If anyone needs surgery and it is within his field I will highly recommend him. Thank you is all I can say!!!

Well what can I say, after reading the first 3 pages of reviews. Every patient has used all the words to describe a 5 star service, from Mr Tai's fantastic team. For me I had an appointment to see him, then I received a phone call, We have a two cancellations this week which one suits you best. That was 5 weeks earlier. Mr tai explained the operation and took note of a holiday date. my operation was arranged for 4 days after my return. Again a big thank you to ALL the staff that made my procedure as painless as possible. I am now looking forward to the other hip being replaced with out any fear.

Mr Tai explained the cause of the issues I had with my knee and gave me various options for treatment. We then agreed an escalating plan of action, which ultimately resulted in a very satisfactory arthroscopic debridement. I always felt listened to and part of the decision making process. Mr Tai's knowledge and skill were outstanding and his honesty about the risks and possible outcomes very reassuring. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Tai as an orthopaedic surgeon and would seek him out for any treatment I might need in the future.

Mr. Tai recently replaced a hip for me. After my initial phone call for an appointment I met him for a consultation within days and had my operation within two weeks. He rearranged the operation at the One Hatfield after a medical delay at Pinehill Hospital. Mr. Tai and his team even operated on the May bank holiday when I think they should have had the day off. Such a kind, friendly team making me feel relaxed as possible before and after the operation. With all the support from the surgeon and the nursing staff at the hospital I made a very quick recovery and was walking without any crutches within 4 weeks. I’m 74 so that was all down to the expertise of the surgeon and my follow up physiotherapy sessions here in Wickham Bishops. I will definitely be returning to Mr. Tai and his team at the One Hospital for my next hip operation but not too soon!
