I have been looked after by Mr Bond for nearly 4 years now and have always had complete confidence in his surgical and doctor/patient skills. There is a completely open, frank and supportive relationship. I have been told that he will no longer be my primary physician. I am appalled at this impending change. He is the only surgeon left in this department with whom I have been since initial diagnosis and through to the present. There is no way that any other person can replace this understanding. I insist that I continue to have Mr Bond as my principal contact, my case has been quite a complicated one and I have no faith that any replacement would be as sensitive to the history of my case.

I was offered the opportunity to be seen at Stoke Mandeville hospital which is much nearer to where I live. The staff there are very caring and efficient, both nurses and reception staff. The waiting area is pleasant and not overcrowded although shared by a few clinics.
