I saw Mr SK Farid Ahmed for a Breast Consultation. He was professionally, engaging and approachable. It was a pleasure to be seen by him. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding Doctor and teacher. As a medical student it can be extremely daunting and intimidating when starting in a new environment. Dr Ahmed was instantly encouraging, calm and kind throughout the entire experience. He went above and beyond to accommodate my learning style as well deal with multiple patients, surgeries as well as emotionally, mentally and physically demanding circumstances without once letting the high pressure situations affect him or myself. He was utterly empathetic and understanding to every patient that came through the door as well as anecdotally remembering fondly many of his past patients. His enthusiasm and positive nature exuded happiness from everyone around him especially the patients when he went outside of the standard practice to make sure they received the best medical attention and time he could give. I was very privileged to receive a small glimpse into his practice and teaching and hope that I may one day work alongside him. I could not recommend Dr Ahmed highly enough in his skill, knowledge, genuine concern and infectious enthusiasm for breast medicine. Thank you very very much. Kirsty Brooks

As a medical student, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Dr Ahmed and assist with his consultations. I can truly say that it has been my best clinical experience so far as Dr Ahmed was both a great teacher and mentor. Being in a new environment and not knowing what to expect as a student, Dr Ahmed was very welcoming and put me to ease straightaway. I learnt a great deal during my short time in the breast clinic and felt that I grew in confidence with the examinations as well as being able to ask questions and discuss cases in a safe space without feeling pressured or rushed. He is indeed a very professional, sincere and empathetic doctor who treats all staff, patients and students with respect as well as stressing the importance of humanity and kindness when being a doctor. This really resonated with me as it is something that I too feel very strongly about. Dr Ahmed is a great doctor and more importantly, a lovely human being. I am very grateful for all the support he was able to provide and the positive impact he has made on my journey as a medical student!

From my first meeting with Mr Ahmed I had every confidence in him. He very carefully explained the results of my tests and what needed to be done. He immediately fixed the date for the operation. The operation went well and I was lucky to have no pain or aches following the operation so did not need to take any pain killers. I have healed nicely and the scars of the lumpectomy are minimal At the follow up appointment he carefully explained what had been done. Luckily he was also able to tell me that I needed no further treatment apart from medication for five years and yearly checkups.. I couldn’t have hoped fir a better outcome. I would recommend him to any one. He is caring, kind and funny. Able to lighten the atmosphere at what are obviously difficult times. I hold him in very high regard and feel lucky to have had him as my surgeon
