Following on from a routine mammogram in a mobile breast screening unit I was referred to Wycombe breast clinic where I saw Mr Cunnick who diagnosed intermediate to high grade DCIS. My case was referred to Mr Ahmed who explained that he would perform a lumpectomy but if the margins were close it could mean that a mastectomy would be necessary which was in fact the case. He was very kind and re-assuring in explaining this to me. During my stay in hospital for the mastectomy op he certainly went the extra mile with regard to after-care. I needed quite a few follow up appointments and he was there for me on every occasion. I cannot thank and praise him enough for all his care and attention during a very difficult time. He is a brilliant surgeon, kind with a sense of humour and above all a truly lovely man.

Mr Ahmed operated on me last year in the first week of lockdown! He is very caring, and came to check on me after the operation. At my follow up appointment Mr Ahmed listened to me and reassured me about reoccurrence. Would definitely recommend Mr Ahmed as he is kind, and caring, funny and good at what he does. Thank you Mr Ahmed for helping me through what was such a scary time.

I can not thank Mr Ahmed enough. He has been outstanding from first diagnosis, through operation to informing me of the results. He has the kindest, most gentle way about him. He explained my diagnosis and the subsequent results from my operation thoroughly and in a way that I could understand without feeling patronised; he also went over anything that I didn't quite grasp as many times as I needed. He provided me with advice on next steps and listened to my wishes when discussing future chemotherapy close to my home. I would wholeheartedly say that anyone who comes under the care of Mr Ahmed will be very well looked after.

Wonderful doctor! From start to finish he made me feel very at ease and reassured about my surgery. I had three consultants and he was the only one who went above and beyond to create a friendly atmosphere which I really appreciated as it was my first surgery.
